Phil Neville’s wife Julie says he’s useless in the kitchen and NEVER made her a cup of tea

THE wife of football’s Phil Neville has revealed he is useless in the kitchen and has never even made her a cup of tea or coffee.

Julie, 45, admits she worries that her teenage children, Harvey and Isabella, will turn out like their dad — as neither make their own toast.

She said the ex-England, Manchester United and Everton defender, 45, has made her nothing to eat or drink in their 25-year relationship.

She told podcast The Hot Mess Mums Club: “I think it’s quite famous that my husband actually can't do a great deal for himself.

“He can't make a cup of coffee.

“I did an interview the other day and they said to me, ‘What’s the best thing Phil’s ever made for you?’.

“I stopped for a minute, and they said, ‘Don’t worry if you need to take a minute.’

“I said, ‘No, I don't need to take a minute — it’s easy: nothing. He’s never made me anything in my life. He’s never made me a drink’.”

Nutrition specialist and author Julie admitted she insisted on doing everything for her kids because she simply “loves” being a mother.

But she conceded: “Because I do all this now, my mother's always on at me, going, ‘Your kids are going to be the same as Phil’, because nobody does anything.
